SB-9 "Nightvision"

by WhoTookCarter

This stealth bomber is based on the flying wing design of the Northrop B-2 Spirit, albeit at a much smaller scale (which offers improved maneuverability at the cost of a smaller payload). However, it still packs a punch with nine Boom 25s and four mini-Cleavers (don't worry, I scaled down the explosion size to keep it balanced). This aircraft has a fully-interactable VR-ready cockpit including my recently-released AIO Radar Display, so you can line up bombing runs without having to switch to an external view. It also features custom landing gear and operable bomb and missile bays that close flush with the bottom of the aircraft, but open to reveal all the inner goodies.

As a true flying wing, this airplane doesn't have any vertical stabilizers, not even hidden away clipped into the inside (check for yourself!) Instead, yaw is stabilized by airbrakes located at the tips of each wing, which use feedback control to counteract any unwanted disturbances. Try disabling the auto-stability program from the cockpit center console to see the difference this control system makes for yourself.

Named after one of my favorite songs by Daft Punk.

Controls:

Standard pitch, roll, yaw, throttle, brakes, and trim. VR-ready.
