TA-10C ThunderBolt II

375 RYAviation  6.0 years ago

As the A-10 Warthog gets older so do her pilots and the Airforce has requested for a few A-10C to be stripped of her weapons and Avenger and retrofitted to be turned into a Training Aircraft shes now equipped with emergency chutes to slow down a out of control Aircraft she has had a few boyency devices added to keep her afloat in the event she has to do a water ditching shes also been retrofitted with a emergcy flare system that fires up into the sky to help SAR locate her amd her pilot and shes been repainted brighter colors so shes easier to spot. Now hopefully the new generation of Warthog pilots will be more then familier with there Aircraft when being sent on duty because the only thing that beats a simulator in training is the real thing (99.9% of this sexy aircraft is made by BogdanX i just retro fitted her :))

But it was more internal work I did on the craft for example the original version couldn’t do most of the race challenges this trainer variety of it can @EternalDarkness

@RYAviation that's an automatic comment that is best suited for this case. Removing weapons isn't really an improvement, as it is so easy to do that anyone can do it on their own.

I did actually make a lot of changes by removing the weapons pylons re working the aircrafts internal center of mass and such it’s a lot of internal work plus I did actually give him credit sooo @EternalDarkness
