NASA QSRA
The DHC-5 QSRA variant was a NASA research aircraft modified to study and develop STOL technology.
READ BEFORE FLYING!
Features working flaps, and adjustable trim.
AG-1 - Trim
AG-2 - Flaps
Before take-off, I recommend activating AG-1, and setting it just slightly below the middle mark. Then deactivate AG-1 and Activate AG-2. VTOL slider all the way down for full flaps. Throttle to about 20% to start your run-up, and when you have a little speed (about 40-50 mph) throttle up to full and pull back modestly on the stick. Once in flight, raise and lock flaps. You can now reactivate AG-1 if you desire and adjust the trim to your liking.
I recommend flying at around 75% thrust, and bank carefully at speeds nearing 500mph, as the wingtips may sheer off.
HAPPY FLYING!
