The FV4005 Stage 2, also known as the "toaster" or "stage 2" was a British prototype tank destroyer designed in the 1950s. It was based on the Centurion tank chassis and featured a large 183mm gun, which was capable of firing both high explosive and armor-piercing rounds. The FV4005 was intended to provide long-range fire support to armored units, but the project was ultimately canceled due to the high cost of development and concerns about its mobility and vulnerability to enemy fire. Only two prototypes were ever built
