Description:

The Savorich Sav-17 is a single engine, transonic, swept wing, jet interceptor made by the Savorich Design Bureau for the Kulsa Air Force that entered service in 2053. It was made to replace the Savorich Sav-16, though slower, it had better range, maneuverability, firepower and engine upgrade potential.

Operational uses:

June 6th, 2054..2 Sav-17s raced to intercept a Red Trident Tu-95 Bombers that were heading to the main Kulsa Army Base.

April 2nd, 2056. Sav-17s intercepted a supersonic bomber that was cruising at subsonic speeds, confirmed that the bomber were carrying nuclear bombs.

Other mission are unknown or kept secret.
