[Fictional story] In the late '30s the USA started a huge campaign to produce various types of dive bombers, to have something for defending their navy in case of war. One of the many designs that came out was the ''Hellgull''. This plane was quite slow, but it was capable of sinking the enemy ships with its standard load of 4 light bombs+1 heavy bomb. The tests were quite sucessful but when the war started in 1939 this aircraft was already obsolete, so it was replaced by other planes like the Douglas SBD ''Dauntless'' and the few units produced were sold to other countries, mainly Britain, where the plane was modernized and then used in many missions against German ships and U-boot.
