Auto Credit Based on RamboJutter's Hawker Siddeley P1214 2.0 rs
So the baby brother of the P1216, still VTOL (and yes it works, press Ag2), ive armed it with two of my SNEB rocket pods and two interceptors plus 2 guns, Ag 1 for flaps and leading edge retraction, Ag3 for lights... simples.
Not a lot of info out there on this one so ive had to use some artistic licence, ive put it in RAF Germany colour scheme (remember the cold war when we where defending Germany??) based on a lightning and harrier mix up. ive had it landing on the destroyer heli pad so its nice to fly, hover is about 35% throttle.

Very cool!
@MethaManAircraft yeah I used most of that, the fellow with the model made it up as he went along I think, there was also a plastic kit made the same way, no drawings I found had dimensions or sections or anything like that. 100 points are doable but not worth it for a build that looks like hitting 20 upvotes... Yeah sure send over whatever you want aerodynamic design in this game is frustrating
@RamboJutter and an article on the whole project here, adapted from this book
@RamboJutter someone made a 3d model and posted screens here
@RamboJutter the extra 100 parts are doable, and I kinda see your problem... I am currently working on a more realistic aerodynamic design philosophy to what pple do atm... if interested, i'll post the build...
@MethaManAircraft Lol, I was struggling, I built the did first but then the shape of the wings wouldn't work so then I built the wings and Hodges the two together before pretty much redesigning the fus, the position of the engines meant nose going up with power and nose heavy without, the airintake and engine pod should be faired together but that would have added an extra 100 parts etc.
@RamboJutter I found it neat and simple, though mine was just neat and simple ;)
@MethaManAircraft thanks, they are an absolute pain to build though arnt they.
Damn! I was happy with mine but I now need to up my game!
Reminds me of a flying squirrel
@Tang0five thanks, you got in first =) woot. Ive been having fun flying this one, its not as fast top speed as the 1216 but its really controllable in the hover.
Jolly good stuff once more!
