The Republic F-84 Thunderjet was the USAF's primary strike fighter during the Korean War and was the first aircraft to fly with the Thunderbirds demonstration team.

Btw. The landing lights fold in when you retract landing gear (dunno if the real thing did that but it's pretty cool)
