N-(SWL)-140 "Owl" Almostlight

18.8k NexusGaming  3.9 years ago
Auto Credit Based on PapaKernels's ALMOSTLIGHT CHALLENGE!!!

The N-(SWL)-140 Owl is an almostlight made by Nexuscorp. It features a 5 bladed propeller since the engine was known for being sensitive to low-grade fuel, and would only "boost" at around 60mph. The stall speed is about 30mph (it's takeoff speed) but if you do the nose-up test it will return a value in the mid 40's but this is not, i repeat NOT the true stall speed. Features catapult thingys as radio antennas, they disappear in flight but they look cool.

20/25 - first impressions: looks good but not really impressive
30/50 - looks: not really, looks like it could be taken out on the water.
80/100 - flight: flight is good, pitch so heavy, roll is sluggish af, some pitch should be transferred to roll so it's a bit better. Power is right at 175 as is the drag so it's just barely complying.
15/25 - details: details are mediocre, could be better.
40/50 plausibility, it could be, just some refinements and other stuff would need to happen.
185/250 good job, I think this is better than the other one, please pin both so I can easily find it for finally judging.

@PapaKernels mostly in flight testing and some appearance features. Sadly it cannot take off from a carrier because it will spaz out on the catapult since the game thinks it has to put the plane partially in the ground, and sideways, causing it to explode. AG1 activates lights. The propeller doesn't start spinning rapidly until around 60 mph.

@NexusGaming it's fine, as long as that's the only thing that you missed then you'll do good.
