OVERVIEW
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is an American carrier-capable supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, twin-tail, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft.
Taking his first Flight At 21 Dec 1970 and introduced in 24 Sep 1974, This is the First 4th gen jets in the world.
The Tomcat was developed for the United States Navy's Naval Fighter Experimental (VFX) program after the collapse of the F-111B project.
The F-14 was the first of the American Teen Series fighters, which were designed incorporating air combat experience against MiG fighters during the Vietnam War.

@99807 yup, Tomcat has the Glove Vanes. "the F-14 had high-speed 'glove vanes' mounted to the leading edge of the wing center section that automatically deployed above mach 1.4" (reddit)
This is really cool! Did the “glove vanes” exist on the real models? I’ve never seen or heard of them before
