Derived from the F-5c Venom, the F/A-6 is known as the spiritual successor of the F-5. Unlike the F-5, The F/A-6 has the ability to be customized to use air to surface missiles (AMS) and bombs. The F/A-6 also carries more weapons than the F-5 and an external fuel tank, making the aircraft more versatile and giving it a longer range.
