@Preston1234 Hey Preston1234 Walrus Jr. here, Sr. Has been talking lately, so I thought I might say something as well. About the COM, COL, and COT, they should be aligned in a specific order to prevent your problem. Quite simply, red dot in front of blue dot you can achieve this by moving fuel, dead weight, ect. Don't worry about the COT. That is only important for making a VTOL, but that is another story. Hope this helps, if not we will see what we can do. Cheers!

@WalrusAircraft I am making a C-17 plane and it keeps lifting and doing a 360 and crashing. Where should the COL, COM, and COT be on the plane because i tried to move things around but nothing is working. Any suggestions?

@Preston1234 - Yes, I suggest playing around with them on my creation to understand how they work. It is a pretty simple setup.

@WalrusAircraft okay so they go on the bottom of the engine then connect them to the body

@Preston1234 - Thanks for the reminder. Do you not see the rotators? They are just under the engines attached to the arm that extends to the body of the ship? No modding with these; I just stuck them on.

@WalrusAircraft I do but do the rotators go on the side or where do they go?

I attached them to rotators. Do you see the rotators? @Preston1234

@WalrusAircraft I don't understand how to make the 8 propeller helicopter. When i look at yours and test it out i notice that the propellers move side to side and forward to backward. I cant seem to do that so mine only goes straight up then crashes. So i am asking how do i get the propellers to move like yours.

Hi @Preston1234. I know you've given credit to Walrus for the build, but I have to take issue with "sorry if people hate me for using other peoples planes just so i can have a good plane". You're welcome to use planes made by other people all you like, but there's no need to upload them again if you haven't made substantial changes.

Have a look at my steampunk airship for some ideas. I found that six rotors was much more stable. Some modders actually create complicated swash plates as well. As for aircraft, the TU-95 is huge and heavily modded. Try pulling it apart to see how I made the body larger. I would start smaller. Think of a theme to start with... Like Steam Punk or fantasy... Then try to envision your creation. Do you like anime? Think of ships / planes you really like. The trick is being passionate about what you build. I sometimes spend 40 to 60 hours on the creation. @Preston1234

@WalrusAircraft I am thinking a quadcopter or some type of jet that you make (TU-95 bear). Plus thank you for doing this

@WalrusAircraft How do I get started on XML modding. Maybe that is how people make so cool planes!

And I see you are on OSX, so you can do XML modding. I can get you started on that.

Your first plane is just fine. Look at my first plane. Nothing to write home about. I flew and rated it. :-) @Preston1234
