ALTERNATE HISTORY:: Utilizing highly experimental RAMJET technology from the Germans, the SAUN air defense developed the JB-29 "Zephyr" as a high speed strategic bomber and bomber inteceptor, however, the aircraft required more powerful engines to get up to take off speed - to combat this, the craft was outfitted with dischargable boosters to assist with take off, however the engines were capable of allowing the bomber to exceed speeds that were not reachable with the RAMJET engines only.
