Dornier Do31E by WinsWings v2
History: The Dornier Do 31 is an experimental vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) jet-propelled transport designed and produced by West German aircraft manufacturer Dornier. The development of the Do 31 was motivated principally by heavy interest expressed by the German Air Force in the acquisition of short take-off and vertical landing aircraft (STOVL)-capable aircraft. Only 3 prototypes were build, no production. First flight was in February 1967, Project cancelled in 1970.

1. Regular Takeoff
Set the VTOL to MAX, hit AG1 (engine start), Throttle 100%, and take off.
2. VTOL Take off mode
Hit AG1 (engine start), Throttle 90-100%, and take off, when airborne, slowly move the VTOL to max to gain speed. Use the pitch controls to maintain the high.
VTOL Landing
1) Keep Engine Throttle at 100% (DO NOT REDUCE)
3) VTOL to ZERO (engine thrust 90 degrees to surface) and it will slow down dramatically
4) reduce the throttle by 10-25% and you will reduce the altitude
5) once it touches the runway, reduce throttles to ZERO immediately

@WinsWings np 🐢
@MrCOPTY clamp01(VTOL) * Throttle, I am also using the VTOL nozzle for the forward thrust, so I don't want to shut them down or make a separate control. But I will make sure to note your input for the future controls. This is also a good idea,, Thanks so much
@Erc90F4RU Thanks
@WinsWings Welp
i send some of em in discord
@Erc90F4RU would you cook some photos for me. Note, I prefer more 3D like images, leave some shadows, please don't make it too flat. Please include some sots of the cockpit as well. Thanks
+1 yesterday
Also I Loved The Cockpit, Dark Grey, Nice Choice
@WinsWings For The Horizontal Engines I Suggest Using This Code
clamp01(VTOL) * Throttle
, So You Can Close VTOL Engines & Use Throttle To Control The Horizontal Engines (Better Then Going Full Throttle Once Your VTOL Slider Is UP)@Erc90F4RU would you cook some photos for me. Note, I prefer more 3D like images, leave some shadows, please don't make it too flat. Please include some sots of the cockpit as well. Thanks
