The most famous Japanese bomber in the Pacific War, its thick and round fuselage looks like a big cigar. The Japanese army called it flying cigar. Its early models were not protected by any armor, so it was easy to be shot down by the U.S. military, and was jokingly called a flying lighter(Flying Lighter), As passengers, Japanese Navy General Yamamoto 56 and Navy ace Nishizawa were shot down when they were riding on the type 1 land attack aircraft. On August 19, 1945, the Japanese surrender negotiation group went to the U.S. military base on Iwo Jima, which was also a type-1 land attack aircraft
