Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1A
[About Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1A]
Wikipedia
The Supermarine Spitfire was a fighter aircraft operated by the Royal Air Force during World War II.
In 1931, the Royal Air Force proposed specifications for the next generation of fighter aircraft, to which Supermarine applied. Supermarine proceeded with the design with R. J. Mitchell as chief designer, and the prototype Type 224 made its first flight in 1934. However, both the design and engine performance were poor, and the Type 224 was rejected. In the same year, the Royal Air Force proposed new specifications, to which Mitchell responded by designing the Type 300. The design of the Type 300 was based on Mitchell's experience in designing racer aircraft, and it was a sleek design. It was decided that the Type 300 would be powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The Type 300 design proposal was approved by the Royal Air Force, and the prototype made its first flight on March 6, 1936. The prototype performed excellently, and the test pilot who conducted the first flight is reported to have said, "don't touch anything" (meaning that nothing needed to be modified). The Type 300 was given the name "Spitfire" and was officially adopted.
Although the Spitfire showed superior performance compared to the Hawker Hurricane of the same generation, its production could not keep pace with the outbreak of World War II. It was not until around the time of the Battle of Dunkirk that the Spitfire was introduced to the front lines. The Spitfire was then put into action in the "Battle of Britain," a series of air battles that lasted from July 10 to October 31, 1940, during which the Spitfire and the Hurricane intercepted and defeated the Luftwaffe. It can be said to be the fighter that saved the country, defending Great Britain from the Luftwaffe invasion.
The Mk.1A was an early model of the Spitfire, which was the mainstay of the Battle of Britain.
[About the work]
The cockpit is roughly reproduced.
I have not verified this because I do not have Simple Planes VR. Sorry.

@AlexRol05
Oh...by news from Japan, do you mean the earthquake? That earthquake happened far away from where I live, so it didn't affect me directly. Thank you for your concern.
I'm just asking, glad to know you're fine
the latest news from Japan and that...
@AlexRol05
Well, I am fine.
...Why?
Also well done on 50 upvotes
Hey how about you make a supermarine K5054, just a simple build request, it’s ok if you don’t do it.
are you alright?
@DatMaluchGuy19
Oh, such a compliment is too good for me. But thank you.
Well, some people can be a bit brusque at times(especially sick and tired of people like Peter Muller), but I like this SP community... a cross-national group of people who like games, airplanes, cars, mechs, etc... it's interesting and I like it.
@AntonWings also, you're probably some of the most polite sp users to ever exist here, sad to see people taking advantage of your politeness, it makes me sick knowing that people take advantage of you for their own personal gains, and hey, at least that petermuller user is gone now, and im still not sorry for that guy.
@DatMaluchGuy19
Thanks for the comment. I've already blocked him. And it looks like his account has already been banned.
@ToeTips
Thanks for the advice. I don't have an SPVR, so I wasn't sure if this piece would play comfortably on my SPVR. So I did not put a VR tag on it.
@AntonWings don't listen to that peter muller loser, i highly recommend just blocking that person.
Also if you add the VR tag it will help VR usersto better locate your plane, plus it gets curated.
@PeterMuller
Bruh how are you requesting for a plane just to steal it?💀
What sort of polite robbery is that?
@Tang0five
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you like it. Actually, I was inspired to make this piece after seeing the movie "Dunkirk".
@AntonWings If you like the idea of making an Avro Anson, then that is my request, preferably the nz-registered one (the one with B and VX next to the roundels)
Having just watched Battle of Britain I love this! Great build, really neat way of getting a curved roundel btw!

Thank you for your comment. Those words are very encouraging :)
