Here is a project that I should've done a long time ago, called the Concorde. Its really hard to take off, so in order to have a really good takeoff, all you have to do is set the throttle to somewhere around 50%, then after that, when you're in air, it would be safe to set it up to 100%. Setting the throttle to 100% BEFORE flying can cause it to flip in the air once taken off. it is easy to land though. Also, the nose can move up and down like the real deal, just use the left VTOL throttle.
