Auto Credit Based on lizi13399a's XFA-24 Apalis with AutoLanding

This update mainly includes:

  • Better cockpit interior
  • Add auto landing for USS Beast, now you can select USS Beast as target and perform the same landing process

XFA-24 Apalis with functional fly-by-wire system. Support autopilot, auto landing approach, and auto trim. Thanks to relax static stability and small wing loading, this plane gains excellent maneuverability

Stall Speed: 120 - 150 km/h

  • Activate2 – Refuel Probe
  • Activate3 - Navigation Lights
  • Activate4 - Formation Lights
  • Activate5 – Arresting Hook
  • Activate6 – Yaw Stablizer
  • Activate7 – Autopilot
  • Activate8 – Enable/Disable Flight Control
  • Throttle - Coarse Speed Set(Normal mode)
  • VTOL – Speed Fine-tune(Normal mode)

Normal mode(Activate8 activated)

when deactivate Activate7,
Pitch, Roll, Yaw inputs are allowed, Trim for manualy triming

when activate Activate7,
the airplane will try to keep horizontal and hold the Altitude.Pitch, Roll are disabled, Yaw input is allowed.Trim for adjusting the pitch angle.

Direct mode(Activate8 deactivated)

Most of functions of the fly control are disabled at this mode.Pitch and Roll output directly to the control surface. weaker AOA limit for post stall maneuverability. Autopilot and Auto landing are disabled at this mode.

Auto Landing Instructions

  1. Toggle the desired location to land
    Press the button below the "ILS DISTANCE" to select the airport you want
  2. Coarse Approach
    Fly to the airport. the gauge at your right will guide you. Turning round until the number at the second line of ILS DISTANCE reduced to zero and your Heading to the airport direction
  3. Fine Approach
    while performing the operations above, at a certain moment you will see the button next to the Autopilot display the word "AutoLanding". This means the condition to switch on AutoLanding have reached. Press Autopilot and the press the AutoLanding to enable fine approach.
  4. Wait For Landing
    After successfully turns on AutoLanding, the flight control will take over the rest. All you need is to pay attention to the speed
