The Junkers Ju 87 or Stuka (from Sturzkampfflugzeug, "dive bomber") was a two-man (pilot and rear gunner) German dive bomber and ground-attack aircraft. Designed by Hermann Pohlmann, the Stuka first flew in 1935 and made its combat debut in 1936 as part of the Luftwaffe's Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War.

The model G Stuka, I don't believe had the 37mm Cannons as you have on this one. The Ju-87K or Kanonvogel model, had the 37mm cannons for tank busting. The G was the main diver bomber, and I guess it could be considered a grounded attack, as most bombers in WWII were technically considered ground attack planes. But the G only had 2, 12.7mm or offensive 7mm machine guns for taking out light infantry. Other than that, they strictly carried bombs, whereas the ju-87K didn't carry bombs, or just rarely carried any at all. Sorry, just a WWII plane fanatic ranting on..
