The De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, currently called the Viking Air DHC-6 Twin Otter, is a utility aircraft originally developed by De Havilland Canada. Since 2012 Viking Air holds the manufacturing right. Its characteristics are easy maneuverability, takeoff/landing on short runways and a high rate of climb. It is used for transporting passengers and cargo, evacuating people in medical emergencies, skydiving, aerial filming and executive transport.
