finally got it to work, found some random public domain image on wikipedia with 7364 extra pixels than the last test.
known issues:
large file sizes
long loading times with lots of lag
bad image quality (solved, use lower mspace and line-heights, though this makes the resolution worse I think*)
low resolution (lower than ?x400 or something unless you want the image to look flat)
Hopefully these issues can be resolved in the future.
