This is my entry for the Brazilian air force challenge

I have decided to build a F-103 (Brazilian codename) because its one of my fav FAB aircrafts, i learned a lot from building this like the wings and landing gears.

O DASSAULT MIRAGE III-EBR é um avião supersônico, asa em formato de delta, com capacidade para um tripulante, destinado a missões de interceptação, reconhecimento, combate aéreo, bombardeio e ataque ao solo. Voou pela primeira vez em 1956, sendo produzido sob licença na Austrália e na Suíça. Esses aviões foram utilizados, com sucesso, na “Guerra dos Seis Dias” (Israel / Países Árabes - 1967), no conflito entre Índia e Paquistão (1971) e na “Guerra das Malvinas” (Argentina / Inglaterra - 1982).

O “Mirage III”, primeiro avião supersônico operado pela Força Aérea Brasileira, atuou na defesa do espaço aéreo brasileiro, realizando interceptações e uma variada gama de missões, de 1972 a 2005. O exemplar em exposição (matrícula FAB 4913) foi desativado em 2005 e entregue ao Museu Aeroespacial em 2006.

The DASSAULT MIRAGE III-EBR is a supersonic plane, delta-wing, with capacity for one crew member, intended for interception, reconnaissance, air combat, bombing and ground attack missions. First flown in 1956, being produced under license in Australia and Switzerland. These planes were successfully used in the “Six Day War” (Israel / Arab Countries - 1967), in the conflict between India and Pakistan (1971) and in the “Malvinas War” (Argentina / England - 1982).

The “Mirage III”, the first supersonic plane operated by the Brazilian Air Force, served in the defense of Brazilian airspace, carrying out interceptions and a wide range of missions, from 1972 to 2005. The example on display (registration FAB 4913) was deactivated in 2005 and delivered to the Aerospace Museum in 2006.

Fun fact

The F-103 made its first succesful interception in 1982 when a cuban IL-62 entered Brazil's air space.
