F-99 StarHawk
This section will be me rambling on about the design process.
Basically, what I wanted to do is originally create a Soviet F16 from stolen blueprint, but then i watched the video from notapoundforairtoground which was an f106 video and felt the calling to create an delta dagger competitor. Thus, I changed my mind.
This craft has helped me as a builder in many ways, from using rotators to work as control surface and using chopped up pieces to make a canopy.
Design inspiration comes from the avro aero, as well as my own CRA-12, at least for the main tail and wing shape, respectively. Along with that, the F102 and F106 are very obvious. SR-71 for the side vertical stabilizers.
CONTROLS:
Max alt: 80000 Feet
Max Speed: 1250 miles per hour
AG1:CANOPY
AG5:DROP FALCONS
AG7:PARACHUTE
AG8:LIGHTS
VTOL up to go up to go up, Pitch down to go up. Weird, I know. Careful whilst landing, pitch up while landing, back gear first.
Credits: @BagelPlane for his AIM 4, @Striderxxl for their radar piece, @ChiChiWerx for their rondels for the USAF.
I believe this aircraft to be VR compatible, however, I do not own a VR headset to verify this.
