Cessna 172 (Realistic)
This took way too much time
So i tried to dip my fingees into the mess funky trees are. This apparition came out. It's suprisingly VERY FUN when you're not trying to climb steep-y. Mayhaps i'll make one of those as a seaplane with actual navigation sometime in the future. Who knows.
Also made a version with no startup and more power so you can have fun with it
Arcade version
Quick cockpit rundown:
Everything has tooltips, even the indicators. And there's a startup checklist thingy in the instructions. Still, there ya go.
1: Magneto switch
2: Battery and alternator
3: Fuel pump
4: Avionics
5: Nav lights (idk how to make spotlights in sp, so cant make other ones)
6: Remove/reattach yoke
7: Throttle
8: Mixture
9: Flaps (visual)
10: Fuel consumption rate
11: Engine RPM
12: Trim wheel
Have fun!

Oh right if anyone has any questions on how i managed to do something just ask away. I'll try to explain as much as i can with my 3 brain cells.
Nice
@Numbers2 Dunno how to change it anyway lol. Yeah its the default 3000
@Stick ok the max if I remember correctly is up to 3000rpm
@Numbers2 I mean this also has 6x the engine power. Not enough lift apparently though.
Like the cessna 172 only has a mtow of 1,111kg this is more than 2x then that
@Stick all you need to do is put 0 in like where you don't need weight and if you want a little bit of weight 0.5 for example
@Stick you won't break it as it's a default peace of code
@Numbers2 I mean i know how to i just didn't wanna mess around with it so I don't break it. I know xml editing. Kinda.
@Stick ok so if you go to XML on the front page you can set mass from 1 to 99999 or 0 but be careful about weight imbalance
@Numbers2 Thanks for the feedback, I tried to model the cockpit off of actual Cockpits. It was really hard to make the starter work, but I'll try to make it set lower RPMs. And I didn't really know what to do about the weight problem, I'll try to do something ab it next time though.
@Stick No offence here but I'm a student pilot in a Cessna 172 and there's some things that need fixing. So the Mixture handle should be coloured completely in red and same thing for the throttle but in black. That's just minor details however the biggest thing here is after starting the plane the pilot sets 1000rpm which with a little more power it starts to taxi... however getting to 60+ knots is insane for a plane that's meant to be in idle... The weight isn't correct I'm lifting off at 80knts the take off is around 55knts irl and also it's effecting your planes performance the weight in a really bad way.
@Stick you gotta xml mod your parts so they're closer to their original weights
Fuck yea my unrealistic ass ww2 plane paved way for this beast right here
@GiuliMBorgesYT yeah I got no idea why it is so heavy. Tried to give it a ton more lift. I'll try to make it a ton lighter next time, cuz I definitely got the scale right (finally).
it's too heavy
nice job!
