Baidu Introduction: The U-2 reconnaissance aircraft was developed by Lockheed Corporation in the United States. It secretly completed its first flight in August 1955 and began equipping the US Air Force in 1956. The US Air Force and the CIA are used to scout strategic targets behind enemy lines and can serve as tactical reconnaissance aircraft. The budget document approved by the US Department of Defense on December 23, 2005 required that the U-2 be fully retired by 2011 at the latest, and a portion of the U-2 be retired by early 2007. Great build. Love the cockpit and the jettison of the landing gears. Current air speed is around 980mph which is much faster than the Real U2. That's the only thing I would say to improve. I love it overall
