This is the result of a couple experiments. The second was just me messing around with the xml to change angles, which was a pain I don't want to repeat but I needed it for the pyramid. The first is the... mysterious force that makes this walker walk at a steady pace and not fall on his pyramid. It's not hard to guess ;)

-Yaw left and right to move his legs and walk forward.
-Pitch forward to raise his sword in a most awkward manner, and release pitch when it's at the top potition to swing it down.
