I don't know how to describe it but when this engine is working it is leaving something like radio waves behind it and it is really cool. Please help me with name of this thing. Credit me if you used them.

    I think they were running afterburners at the time. You could feel the shock waves going right through you. And, the plume is blue, not orange. In daylight, you could only see heat distortion and a little gray smoke.

    Shock waves in the exhaust plume. Used to see it clearly when F-14's fired up for a launch at night. In real life, it is a diamond pattern.
