Dornier Seastar

Auto Credit Based on TheWeaver's test 2

Hello everyone! I'm back, and with a plane this time. This is the Dornier Seastar, one of the most advanced amphibious airplanes made to date. Building this was an even mixture of enjoyment and hair-pulling frustration. I've decided its good enough, so I hope you all agree! Activation group 1 and VTOL down retracts langing gear. When taking off from the runway, SLOWLY ease it to 100% throttle for maximum realism. For water takeoff, it needs to be going at least 170 mph. It might at first seem that it won't take off from the water, but just give it a bit of time and it will. Please, upvote if you liked it, comment, and if you have any suggestions for me for fixes or future projects, don't hold back! Enjoy!

Sweet build - reversing the rotation of the rear motor helps with land take-offs :)

Excellent. I capsized on my first water landing, throttled back up, roll/yawed myself upright and took off again. No casualties!
