The first version of the highly acclaimed HY-line of fighter aircraft. This particular model helped Poladuria greatly with the war effort and was a huge part of the nation's success. This model also took the HYDRA co. and its founder David Higgs into the path of fame and respect. The plane itself handles like a dream and the safety level of the aircraft made this aircraft a pilots dream. The main attraction for this prop fighter were the "gills" on the sides of the fuselage. This helped pilots land even at high speeds and at critical combat scenarios, thus increasing its safety. Many famous aces would much later after the world war say how the HY fighters would compare with modern jet fighters. The armament on this version mainly included 6 Ingnis mk. 3 machineguns and a 250 lbs bomb, but could fit in 6 127mm rockets aswell.
