SCF-60 Comet
Introducing Starcrest's first stealth fighter aircraft!
Starcrest United to unveil it's most highly advanced aircraft yet! Read all about it!
Lore:
The idea of a stealth fighter for Starcrest was first conceived in the early 2000s. Soon, an experimental design called the SCX-60 "Jubilee" was built and took flight in 2009. It was later armed with a hidden compartment that contains 6 missiles.
Interestingly, there is no visible door that opens the weapons bay. This was intentional, in order to reduce it's radar cross section and appear invisible on most radar systems at the time. Instead, several theoretical physicists and experts in quantum mechanics were brought in to precisely calculate a quantum tunneling system that lets the missiles pass through the fuselage without incident.
The fighter has orders from around the globe already, with customers like Australia, Taiwan, Israel, Turkey, Greece, and contracts being signed by NATO, the United States, and South Korea.
