An improved version of the A-series now fitted with a dorsal turret, a pair of fixed forward-firing guns and a pair of crudely made flaps. The wings were shortened and the bomber comes with a pair of chaff dispensers which can be removed.
The series number 857 is now designated as B857. All versions of this bomber after the A2 should be known in this designation.
