The Sakuradan is an aircraft bomb developed by the Japanese Army during the Pacific War. It was developed as a suicide weapon and put into actual battle. Sakuradan is a large anti-ship bomb with a diameter of 1.6 m and a weight of 2.9 tons. It explodes it is attached to an aircraft and makes a special attack. The explosive power was supposed to blow off 3km in front and 300m behind. The on-board aircraft was a Type 4 heavy bomber (Peggy) and was called a cherry blossom bomber (Ki 167).
