This is the same Connie L1649 I posted the other day but with an early warning and command system upgrade. As well as the visual changes i have also improved upon the original design slightly and the changes are listed below:

Removed the yaw control from the central vertical stabiliser
Added yaw control to the outer lower vertical stabilisers
Added some incidence to the rear wing to improve level flight and negate the feeling of a heavy nose
Elongated the inner two engines slightly to reflect the actual shape of the real plane
Decreased the pitch control on the rear wing to make the plane feel a bit bigger
Increased the pitch control on the main wing to improve glide-ability

Older version designated as the EP-3. Most photos will be grounded aircraft, radome retracted. Might find some photos of an airborne EP-3 but the USN is shy about letting photographers get close to the real plane. One ref: www.simpleplanes.com/a/k39Caj/USN-EP-3E-ARIES-II-Sigint @Authros

@Stingray I meant the real plane. I couldn't find one where the radome extends. I'll have to find a video somewhere or just search for extending radome.

Yeah haven't solved that one yet or it would be posted by now. Working on the concept of retracting radomes, myself. @Authros

@Stingray Love this suggestion, I should definitely do it. I can't find a particular variant with an extending and retracting radome though.

Perhaps a Lockheed P3 ARIES Sigint (still in operation) with the underbelly radome that retracts at takeof, extents in-flight? Next?

Cool but can I recommend a semi gloss or no gloss paint rather than a full gloss because it looks kinda shiny I am not sure if this is what the paint is like in reality but it would be an improvement in looks

@PlanesOfOld I had a plane in mind but a concept plane sounds better.

Yep I wont exclude the modded fuel or engines cause they are kind of needed @Authros why don't you make a concept plane or your own design? It would be cool

@PlanesOfOld Challenge accepted. It's been a while since I've made something without modding the xml. It's force of habit I'm afraid. I assume normal part clipping is acceptable?

I kno he's an epic builder I have most of his early planes from ages ago and still fly them too! I kow this is epicly realistic but do you have to use that many modded parts lol? I know I use mods a lot aswell but usualy just 0.5x0.5 wings and whilst my planes may not be all that realistic, most of the time they are incredibly detailed just using wing pieces and blocks all I say is can Authros make an epic plane without mods? It would be nice to see a vanilla thing like this that looks the same... It would get more rates Aswell as it is more of a challenge :) @Allstarship

What really makes this plane great is how perfectly realistic the plane looks. The thing is, to make a plane look this unbelievably realistic, you need to use mods. We all admire him for his exceptional proficiency in the art of crafting realistic vehicles. Before you were on the scene, he was creating planes that I still fly today, which is something that I can only say about him, since I really don't download all tht many planes. @PlanesOfOld

@Authros I'd love to see you make two planes. 1) Condorde and 2) DC-8-61 (McDonnel Douglas)

Basicly this plane is only great because of almost every block of the fuselage is modded at an angle you don't need mods 4 good planes but it's good anyways...
