The Challenge:

I propose a challenge!! I would like to see the best 25-Part Homebuilt Kit Plane you can make!! Simple Right?

The Rules:

-Must Be an Aircraft (Helicopters count)
-Must Be 25 Parts (Yes, Exactly!)
-Must Be A Replica of a Home Build Kit
-Must Be Built to Scale
-Must Maintain Flight for 5 Minutes
-No Mods
-XML Allowed
-Must Have Realistic Flight Characteristics
-Must Be a Successor to This Post

ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 31

I know its a short contest, but the planes are only 25 parts each. Please, No more than 2 entries per person.

If you have any questions, please ask. This Challenge will hopefully put your creativity to the test!! Also, if you are looking for some inspiration, here are a few suggestions to get your gears going:

-Pietenpol Air Camper
-Bowers Fly Baby
-Ison MiniMAX
-Ibis
-KRSeries
-Pik-26
-Bede B5

The Bede BD-5J:
I chose this plane for having seen it in the classic James Bond Movies. Here are the details:
The Bede BD-5 Micro is a series of small, single-seat homebuilt aircraft created in the late 1960s by US aircraft designer Jim Bede and introduced to the market primarily in kit form by the now-defunct Bede Aircraft Corporation in the early 1970s.

The BD-5 has a small, streamlined fuselage holding its semi-reclined pilot under a large canopy, with the engine installed in a compartment in the middle of the fuselage, and a propeller-driving engine - or jet engine in the BD-5J variant - mounted immediately to the rear of the cockpit. The combination of fighter-like looks and relatively low cost led to the BD-5 selling over 5,000 kits or plans, with approximately 12,000 orders being taken for a proposed factory-built, FAA-certified version.

No you wouldn’t have to install anything, those are all in Game attributes. And the only way for me to achieve and actually realistic five model is to reduce the weight and drag all of it @Sgtk

@Chancey21 I would also argue that limits to the flight model due to the low part count will be assessed in the score, and shouldnt be a driving factor in deterring entry. If it can stay airborne for five minutes and fly in a straight line, you have achieved a realistic flight model. My main concern is that the speed and handling stay realistic. It would be absurd for my bede here to do mach 1.

@Chancey21 Im going to say no. I achieved a decent flight model without those and I would need to install all of them to review and achieve your balance model.

@Chancey21 What kind of mods do you need? XML is allowed for weight/balance tweaks. I'm not sure what else you need...

I will enter if you open modding rules, the only way to make planes fly realistically in SimplePlanes is to mod them. I might make it 25 part KitFox this afternoon
