T-113 Helios (thrust vectoring + supermanovrability capable)
Hello, this is my first time posting my plane here. Hope you guys likes my creation.
Features:
-thrust vectoring -post-stall maneuvers and supermanovrability.
-carrier operational
-fly-by-wire system, flying stable in broad range of speed
Controls:
AG1 thrust vectoring (off by default)
AG2 tail hook
Tips:
-When IAS is below about 450 km/h and you pull hard enought the plane will stall and allow you to perform all sort of crazy manuver! (with trust vectoring on)
-If thrust vectoring is off, plane will fly sort of normally.
-If you lose control just let go of the control and make sure thrust vectoring os on and let fly-by-wire system regain control for you.
Fly by wire system based on https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/cZ29x6/F-A-52-ARES-please-read-description (with a lot of tweak)
ps. I'll be posting some ealier prototype of this plane later (which is equally awesome) if you guys are interest.

The birth of a legend
@Zaineman
That make a lot more sense now.
It's lucky that you didn't take Plaxovid for much longer.
My andrographis is herbal pills, I don't recommend it since it may act difference, I took it because they reserved the medicine for only Covid positive patients.
@GuyFolk the Plaxovid ? I think is the main drug used to speed Covid along. She put me on it for 1 day until we found out it could not be mixed with another drug I have been on for 15 years now. If I were to stop the prescription that I have been on for 15 years , I would suffer horrible withdraws. So, That's why I couldn't take the standard prescription for covid. So, she put me on a steroid to dilate my lungs so I would be able to breathe. Make sense ? Z 🤒 so nothing too shorten the covid, just something to keep me breathing during covid.... Z 🤧
@Zaineman
Good to hear that you are in good hands.
If I were you, the doctor would have killed me because I've had many (unnecessary) close call of contacting Covid, after every close call, I took andrographis pills to prevent the virus, took some test from 2 difference brands of Covid self test kits and came out negative.
It work for me lol.
But idk if it'll work for anyone else.
Also, I've never herd anyone treat Covid with steroids, that's new to me.
@GuyFolk hey buddy. Yeah I use my tablet for everything. Regarding the covid, as soon as my symptoms got really bad ie. 28-hour headache, I immediately contacted my doctor. I took two over the counter covid tests both showed positive for covid. So my doctor put me on what I believe to be steroids. The headaches gone but I'm still coughing really bad and have been in bed the last 3 days in a row. I'll probably contact my doctor again and let her know my current status. But thank you for looking out for me, I appreciate it.
@Zaineman
lol
I guess you fly your own builds in tablet only.
Also, from what I've heard, Covid attack lungs, if you having even a slight breathing trouble just see the doctor.
Take it with a grain of salt though, I've never had Covid before (or had it but didn't noticed) lol.
@GuyFolk Thanks bud. Honestly, I don't give much thought to VR in my builds. I'm sure my camera placement in all of my builds probably wouldn't be good for VR. A year ago, I was specifically building for VR and it takes a lot of changes for a comfortable fit. For instance, in both of our builds, our throttles are so low that they are almost out of reach for a VR person. Same with the yoke. So, again, I don't give it much thought. Lol.. Z 🤧
@Zaineman
The HUD is actually close to the face but that's not a problem in 2D screen.
I guess I can't fool the VR player with depth perception lol.
I don't actually know how to mimic HUD for VR in this game, it's entirely difference from 2D screen.
So.. "Default" option is actually "do nothing" for those button?
That's new info for me, thanks again for your feedback.
Also I hope you are free from the virus soon.
@GuyFolk Hey, I did fly in VR a week ago maybe more. I felt like I was pushed way to far forward towards the HUD and of course none of the controls on the yoke or throttle worked. Anyway, I have Covid, I was getting better but I'm relapsing w zero energy and very congested lungs. 🤒
@Zaineman
Sorry for the late reply.
I have to admit that I didn't think about button on the controls lol.
I just leave it default right off the part menu.
So... guess I'd need to do that base on your setting.
@Neruneten21
Thanks, I just want to know how VR player will feel like, just some general thought.
I don't have VR so I'd never know how VR player think while flying.
@GuyFolk I will try to make the time Friday or this weekend. If you have not heard from me by Friday night USA Michigan time, please give me a friendly reminder somewhere in a comment. Also, the buttons on the yolk and the throttle were not programmed. So I programmed them for VR. For instance, fire weapon, select Target, select weapon, countermeasures, cycle targeting... After program I posted it privately so I can retrieve it in VR
@GuyFolk @Toetips Yeah, If you need VR reach distance of VR experience help, I can give you feedback and suggestions.
@GuyFolk
You can ask @Neruneten21, he can potentially help
@Zaineman
lol
I though you took code from this until I downloaded the Dragon.
But it's ok, I don't mind it at all.
And thanks again for your kind words.
So.. you have VR, can you run my F-35 in VR?
I kinda want to know how it will perform since I don't have VR, all the work are just my guess.
@GuyFolk Lol, sorry, easy to confuse, I took the PSM code from This aircraft not the aircraft on this page. Lol. I just chose this plane to hide my conversation. The last I looked your latest creation had 185 upvotes. A lot of pressure for you to "One up" yourself. But I think you pulled it off nicely. Lastly, I like the cockpit of your new plane, it doesn't seem as busy. It reminds me of a cockpit I saw in the VR game VTOL. ... MAN, I need to dust off the Oculus quest 2 and my laptop and fly VR again. Jeez , I think I'm just lazy.... it's sad really.... Lol.... Z😺
@Zaineman
Thanks.
I'd check the Dragon 6 in a bit.
This thing is as old as my account lol but I think it'll be working fine.
It's just pure simple PSM code because back then I didn't know anything else.
Guyfolk, I'm hiding this comment way over here, lol. Congrats on 85k and for (at this time) 1091 downloads on your F-35B 'Lightning II' ! Also , I took your advice and I fixed the engines in Black Dragon 6 Click here for private post. I also added some updated programing to the engine rotors (yours) and it makes PSM maneuvers extremely stable. For instance, when you let go of the yoke, the attitude of the aircraft stops instead of continuing to spin (for example) . So thanks. When I do post the updated version, I will give you a shout out. Lastly, I put your newer (?) Programing into the rear rotors of a PSM R15 that I am adding my cockpit to as well. (You will get credit on it too when it is posted.) Thanks again bud... Z 😺
@Khanhlam
This is more or less block plane lol.
I joined simpleplane a bit late than you but i just discovered Funky Tree in the last year lol, i was building a block plane, you were making a badass simple fuselage plane.
beginning of an era
@GuyFolk lol ! !
@Zaineman
lol
I see you are coming out of going fast stage and starting PSM with full throttle stage.
Well...
Just like me.
@GuyFolk Exactly right. I noticed the speed kills PSM too. ( Noticed ? It slapped me right in the face ! ) The first thing I did was turn down the engines. I think I'm over my going "super fast stage".And yes, the cock was part of the plan but I wanted your permission before I put in a cockpit. I can also get it to spin like a "frisbee" (a top). How i get it to do it is, I will yaw left just until the aircraft stops "Yawing" (is that a word ?) About 25° Then Immediately Yaw right and hold the "stick" , this will make the aircraft spin. It is VERY hard to keep the aircraft level while it's spinning. Also, I stopped counting the number of times I exploded against the bridge trying to be like you. Lol. You make that look easy...... It is not...... Thanks again Z : )
@Zaineman
Yes you can do whatever you want with it.
I suggest you make cockpit for it, I've never see one before lol. (and the mods might look at you with red eyes)
First make the fuselage at the nose hollow and place cockpit in there and I guess you know the rest.
Also, you don't need full throttle for PSM, it seems counterintuitive but this plane have quite high thrust per weight ratio (spicy engines) so it'll gain speed quickly and escape stall which is not ideal since we want it to stay stall. (as the name suggest, post-stall maneuver)
