THE DCA-20 BATFISH
Lore:
In 1987 the need for a new airlift that would be capable to operate from unprepared airstrips arose and so DreamCraft took upon the challenge by producing the DCA-20 Batfish. The Batfish was equipped with two state of the art TF-56 Turbofan engines, which were placed in such a manner that they increased the lift generated by the wings of the DCA-20 thus giving it a superb ability to take off and land on short distances. Some other unexpected benefits of this engine placement were a reduced heat signature from below and a lower chance for the engines to suck debris up from the ground which made it especially good at operating from just about anywhere.
