The Anubis Missile is a colossal superweapon from the mecha anime Genesis Climber Mospeada, and by far one of the weirdest things I've ever made, as it more or less resembles a demented flower.

The Anubis-1 is the final weapon of the Third Invasion Fleet. Named after the Egyptian god of the dead, they are massive missiles capable of scorching a significant portion of the Earth’s surface. The Third Invasion Fleet plans on keeping them in reserve and using them only in the eventuality that the descent operation fails to capture Reflex Point. As the battle rages in the final episode of Genesis Climber Mospeada the Third Invasion Fleet’s commander decides to activate them. As Refless leads the Inbit off of Earth she destroys all of the missiles.

Earlier books on Genesis Climber Mospeada and production drafts list this weapon as Anubis-1. Later books describe it but don’t name it. AD Vision’s subtitled Mospeada calls them "electrically charged particle missiles."

Controls

• This thing doesn't really have any controls, it just drops a bomb after five seconds. At this scale trying to make it pilotable wouldn't have even worked anyhow.
