Fiat G.75 "Nano"
The G.75 "Nano" was Fiat's response a design competition posted by the Italian government back in 1943 for a parasite fighter to escort the German GI. WHB 124-B "Kondor" heavy bomber on missions beyond the range of existing fighters. The tiny fighter was to fit in the bomb bay of the Kondor, limiting size. The Nano incorporates several new technologies, many borrowed from Germany, such as jets, swept wings, miniaturization, and a prone pilot position. By the time the Nano had became operationally ready, there still hadn't been any need for fighter escort in long range bombing runs. Some Nanos were instead used for testing static, JATO assisted launched fighters. The G.75 has two machine guns, linked to AG 8, and a 20mm autocannon, linked to AG 1. VTOL down to unfold wings. Enjoy!
