KSS Vorhut is a amphibious assault ship, the lead ship of her class and formerly served for the Royal Crystal Navy. She was named after the City of Vorhut in the State of Crystal. She served for the former Royal Crystal Navy for 10 years before being transferred to the new Royal Sovereign Navy.

She was scheduled to replace Eisenbucht upon her commissioning, but because of delays, changes of plans and the ongoing unification of states led to the two ships serving alongside each other.

Development and construction

The Eisenbucht-class replaced the older amphibious assault ships currently in service in the Crystal Navy by 2075. Work on the new design was initiated by 2070to replace Eisenbucht- class in the future. The first ship, Vorhut, was launched in 2082 and was scheduled to be finished by December the same year, but after a Typhoon hit her moorings extra repairs were needed before her final completion. She was finished in January 5 2083 and commissioned 10 days later.
