Folland Gnat T.1 red arrows
Name: Folland Gnat T.1 red arrows
Type: Basic Replica with basic paintjob
Attempt #: 1
Falkenwut Generation Build: 6
A collaboration build between myself and @Inuyasha8215
The Folland Gnat T.1 in Red Arrows colors
Hope you guys enjoy it, more so, would be awesome to see an actual airshow with these bad boys! Let us know what you think!
Special thanks to @SCP1471 for the beautiful screenshot!
Notes:
The real aircraft's airbrake are on the wheels, however it proves hard to replicate in game. Making a brake part will heavily alter take off parameters, and adding drag to the parts wheel covers will alter the plane's overall flight performance in cruise flight... If you could suggest an alternative, let me know :)
Because of the realistic gears, the plane tends to swirv sideways on takeoff. Something most of my builds tends to suffer from... Thanks for @032 for the suggestion - Increase the wheel suspension strength to full, and you're ready to go :)

Do u think u can post the squadron? it would be lovely for In-game Screenshots, thank you.
@032 I just altered the gear parameters and it worked splendidly! thank you!
As for the air brake, the airplane's true airbrakes are the wheel covers. I.e. When the gears are down, the airbrakes are on (Saving costs at its finest!) .
I can easily make an airbrake inside the aircraft and call it a day but I wish to keep it realistic
I can also make an airbrake inside the aircraft that functions on when the gears are down, but that would slow the plane down drastically for take off.
I can increase the drag of the gear flaps for them to act as the air brake but that would alter the overall flight performance, not reaching the proper airspeed I wish.
If you think you can solve this conundrum, by all means make a successor and I will gladly have a look!
@jerrygriff21 For the image, I have duplicated the aircraft by sending the whole aircraft without cockpit part to the sub-assemblies, and duplicated the plane multiple times. Then I used the attachment editor to attach all the planes together. It doesn't really fly too comfortably, but it gets an awesome screenshot...
Alternatively, you could pick up a few friends, meet up with the multiplayer mod and fly with some friends..
How do you duplicate aircraft for an air show?
@SCP1471 I will add a 1 of the pics, but if you could put the smoke port in the rear , as shown in this photo, I will gladly add the rest of them
@UsualPiooneer The plane is rather small and simple as is. I felt that keeping this plane simple will keep its charm. Especially for multiplayer airshows if anyone would be interested...
@Falkenwut put this pics in the description and it will look better.

@UsualPiooneer ok
@UsualPiooneer did you got notification that I tagged you in my mig-29UB post?
Nice build .
Love it
