The NB-52A, nicknamed "The high and Mighty One", was a highly modified B-52 that was built to ferry the X-15 space plane up to 40,000 for it to detach. The XB-52A you see here has an accurate paint scheme but is not modified to carry an X-15 and is also not accurate due to the fact that the original XB-52A did not feature drop tanks at the end of each wing as this one does. However this plane handles extraordinarily well if you're conservative on the throttle. Landing takes practice but is very fun and easy once you get it down. You can drop the drop tanks under detachment module 1 if need be. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
