A 1st generation jet powered interceptor introduced to the US air force in 1950 and retired in 1959. It was the first operational USAF jet fighter equiped with an afterburner and and was designed to counter the USSRs Tupolev Tu-4 bombers. This is my first plane modeled on an actual design so is not perfectly accurate and any feedback would be appreciated! :)
