Description

The KCR-40, also known as the Clurit class, are a class of fast attack crafts (FAC) operated by the Indonesian Navy, the ships are built locally by several companies and are named after traditional and indigenous weapons. These ships have a length of 44m and a with of 7,40 meters, they are powered by three MAN V12 engines with 1800hp each, propelling them up to 30 knots (56km/h), each ship is typically armed with one 30mm NG-18 CIWS, two 12.7mm M2 HMG, and two C-705 anti-ship missiles, complementing these weapons are a series of sensors and processing systems namely the TR-47C tracking radar and the SR-47AG search radar for the NG-18 and C-705, as well as H/ZKT-series Combat Management System and EID ICCS internal communications systems, each ship has a complement of 35 personel.

In this SimplePlanes version, well it's a 1:1 replica of the ship, with quite an amount of detailing, with rotating and spinning search radars, a synced tracking radar that moves with the CIWS, and the same max speed of the actual ship. The replica is armed with two C-705, two HMGs, and the NG-18 CIWS that comes with three operating modes, auto-aim, camera-aim, and joystick-aim, all in all, it's a quite well replica of the KCR-40 class of ships, it's also my first time making a ship in a long while, hopefully this replica does well and you all can enjoy it ^^.

Note

This note is not about the ship itself, but rather for those who wants to built a ship using the same hull building method used here. Basically there's this bug where the weapons would "sink" when placed on board the hull, making them not function despite being above water, this is what almost caused a delay to happen as I couldn't figure out how to rectify it, and I still couldn't, as I just ended up just using the waterproof XML code. So if any of you want to build a ship using a hull like this, mind this bug when doing so.
