Auto Credit Based on DogedogebreadWithAnAK47's Vietnam war challange
Donated to the South Vietnam airforce in 1967 the F5's predominantly worked in a strike fighter roll. This example is carrying 3 freefall bombs and 6 fin stabilised rockets with the tip pylons carrying AIM9 sidewinder AA missiles for self defense. 560 rounds of 20mm dual purpose cannon finishes out the load. Some surviving examples of this type where later used by the unified airforce after the Norths win in 1975.
