The Vought F4U Corsair was the first American naval fighter to ecceed 400 MPH. It was nicknamed the "whistling death" by the Japanese for shooting down over 2100 japanese aircraft, and the only land aircraft to do so. To operate, turn throttle to 100% and pull up around 180 MPH, and climb to around 300 ft. Detacher 1 for torpedo.
