Introducing the Ornithopteryx. Untested in low physics.
This experimental Ornithopter was built to replicate centuries-old flying machine concepts. By using VTOL up and down in a rhythm, this glider is able to gain speed, thus enabling it to glide without power indefinitely. Video Demonstration : https://youtu.be/rk1oPMLjBk0
Activate 1 for swing-wing mechanism :
Front (VTOL up) improves pitch but lowers roll.
Back (VTOL down) improves roll and stability but reduces pitch.
Activate 2 for Bird mode : VTOL up and down in a rhythm to gain speed.
Activate both for Ornithopter mode : VTOL up and down to gain more speed.
Note that you may take the whole wing and its mechanism and place it on your own plane! See if it flies.

@JovianPat I MADE A REMIX OF YOURS PLEASE SEE IT!!!!
I made a remade GO GET IT NOW
@Ian1231100 Sadly, no...but I do have this.
Happen to have an Articuno too? 😉
@FlyingThings Thanks
COOOOL!
@stealthyfan Thanks!
Awesome!!
Cool!
Really cool.
@Chesscube haha thanks! This plane is good for your body! (or at least your finger) XD
@JovianPat as soon as I saw this I knew it was gonna be featured. Great job! :)
@Astron1 lol maybe in real life they use their feet or hands XD
@JovianPat imagine people flying this to work out there hand/finger. Lol. 😊
SWEET!!
@PizzaCowDragon I was developing a jet version of this, but it's too heavy, so I removed the flapping wings and replaced it with variable sweep wings instead.
@mixhaelr @PhilipTarpley lol don't flap the wings while taking off, you'll just ruin it XD anyways thanks for featuring :D
Congrats on getting featured mate :)
OMG.... I Demand a V.2!!! XD (plz?)
@mixhaelr lol, I did that too at first.
(O_O)
it was a mistake to try to use "bird mode" to take off lol
@lucasmah Thank you :)
@JovianPat it works in low physics, as that is what I use. great job !!
Thanks @Delphinus @AgDynamics @Benny332D2003
