HISTORY

The P-51D mustang was a long range aircraft, It was used for multiple roles such as a Fighter, Dive Bomber/Ground Attack, and an excellent bomber escort. The Mustang had a top speed of 437 Mph, The mustang was able to carry multiple pay loads including, Bombs, Gun pods, and drop tanks. Pilots at first disliked the Mustang due to the engine it was first fit with (The V1710 Allison), which had some difficulties at higher altitudes. The pilots grew to love the aircraft when it was offered the Merlin engine by the British, the Merlin improved the Mustang incredibly, anyways that's enough history and stuff here's some screen shots
