sometimes if u check "calculate drag" to "false" for
all the parts that u put drag to 0,
will save the day on slow computers.

This'd need a complete overhaul for me.
I've noticed that there are so many parts with calculateDrag = true, if those are false it'll improve performance by a lot.
Just let drag concentrate on some few parts like wings will improve performance as well.

I made a "completed" version of this but it didn't come through as a successor

May I simplify it?It is actually a good aircraft,but it contains too many parts.
Actually you can still reduce the resolution for fps, i think you still can.
This performance cost is crazy! No wonder you couldn't run it. Still, an absolutely beautiful design, if I do say so myself.

Maybe you can give this plane a second chance but at a smaller scale perhaps? I've looked at your build and it is indeed astonishing, especially the landing gear and engines. Would hate to see something so beautiful go unfinished.

don't think they are too low-tech.
