History

In late 2019 the Parshain Navy approached SMC Marine and asked them to build a class of destroyers with eight large cannons. To save money the hull of the Tide-class supply ship was to be used.

The design quickly evolved into a nine-gun cruiser which also carried cruise missiles and air defence weapons. Torpedoes were also fitted to provide a marginal anti-ship capability. The first ship was laid down on the 28th of October 2019.

The Monument-class carries nine 12" cannons as well as sixteen cruise missiles, eighteen surface to air missiles, two CIWS and eight torpedoes. It is fitted with the BASTION radar system, allowing it to track 900 targets simultaneously at a range of 360km. The vessels are fitted with bow thrusters, allowing for extreme manuverability. The Monument-class is reportedly capable of up to 44mph.

The ships boasts a number of radar cross section reducing features, including an angled funnel, specially shaped bridge and lifeboats concealed behind moving panels in the hull.

Seventy ships have been ordered, twenty-five for the Parshain Navy, three for the Siegfried Aerials Crusaders, one for the Markcian Navy, thirty for the Falken Navy and eleven for the Saltwater Navy. All of these ships have been launched and are currently in service with their respective navies.

THROTTLE to move forward.
ROLL to steer.
AG1 arms the forward turrets.
AG2 arms the rear turret.
AG3+VTOL up readies the portside SAM launchers.
AG4+VTOL up readies the starboard SAM launchers.
AG5 arms the portside CIWS, VTOL and TRIM to aim.
AG6 arms the starboard CIWS, VTOL and TRIM to aim.
AG7 arms the portside torpedo launcher, VTOL to aim.
AG8 (pre-activated) arms the starboard torpedo launcher, VTOL to aim.

Notes

Very important, please read!

1. Never fire the forward turrets directly forward. Any other angle is fine.
2. Do not depress the main guns excessively.
3. Be careful not to launch torpedoes onto the deck.
4. This build is 1/3 scale.
