SRTA-54
Main description
The SRTA-54 is a turboprop airliner designed by Poland as an attempt to enter the airliner market, it was relatively successful and has entered military market due to its utility use.
Development
After World War 2 and other conflicts that were happening across Europe, the Polish tried to design and make up a airliner to compete in a market, so in the 80s, the government set up a plan, this was called "Project 54" and was in development for 5 years, before being submitted to prototype stages, it was completed after a few years and was set off for production for a small set, initially it was mixed, it was a robust aircraft at its service, but the landing gear design has caused issues, requiring the pilot to be careful on landing and on taxing to avoid oversteering and hitting the wing, this has been a large flaw and it was later fixed in later variants. The SRTA-54 still remains in service today as one of the only modern airliners to ever be used by the Polish
Have fun!
